Getting Back on Track!

I have been a terrible blogger and have not been so great at losing weight lately. I have been having a terrible time getting and staying motivated. I also haven't been able to think of anything to write. and to be honest I really couldn't fess up to the fact that I wasn't losing weight and what's worse, that I didn't really feel like doing anything about losing weight.

Over the last couple weeks I have been feeling more motivated. I've been getting up a couple days a week to work out in the morning, and have been tracking what i eat (a little more at least). and I am decently pleased that after all this time and lack of effort, I have only gained back .8 lbs. BUT I also have made NO REAL PROGRESS.... really since like March!

Well Friday, totally by chance something happened that I hope will get my back on track. I got my daily deal from living social deals... and it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up! More than 80% off of 12 weeks of one-on-one Nutritional counseling and customized nutrition program. The average weight loss after the 12 weeks is 30 lbs. I know I have a lot more weight than that to lose, but 30 lbs is better than ZERO pounds and hopefully this experience will give me the tools I need to lose all the weight that I want to lose!

I really want to lose 35 more lbs before I see my endocrinologist in Mid-November. I think that is do able. It is about 2 lbs a week, starting next week.  I hope I can reach that goal!

I am also going to continue with my at-home morning workouts. I am going to aim for 3 times a week. Then I also want go to at least ONE class per week at the gym and twice to the gym for NON-class workouts.  I know that sounds like a lot, but I can't expect to lose 78 lbs by sitting around.

My first appointment with the nutritional counselor is this WEDNESDAY! I really hope this will be what I need to kick-start my weight loss.

I plan to post again later this week to report on my first counseling session.
